Krasnaya Polyana, Russia

I have returned to Russia for the first Freeride World Tour stop. It has been a great experience once again. I feel like you can always count on receiving plenty of snow here in the Caucasus Mountains- it snowed several meters upon our arrival. The powder skiing here is just mind-blowing. If it's stormy the tree skiing is unrivaled and when it goes blue the mountain peaks offer steep spines and plenty of cliffs to jump off of.
I ended up the competition DNF, but alas I was very satisfied with how I skied. I took a 10+ meter cliff that the men were also airing and seemed to make quite an impression. I look forward to my next competition in Squaw Valley where I am determined to go big and finish!

ReCap of 2008

2008 was a great ski season for me so I thought I'd start this off by doing a recap. In 2oo8 I traveled to 4 different continents, met tons of great people in the ski community, worked with cool photographers, filmed with Rage Film Productions, won the Freeride World Tour Title, and had an absolute blast while doing it all!
